You, Me & The IGP: Citizen Science

Citizen Science

Citizen Science
was the IGP part of the 3 part installation You, Me & The IGP, showcasing the work I did with their Citizen Science Academy.

Embedded in the Act Early: Tower Hamlets project I co-created two audio pieces with care leaver Mohammed Rahman. One, as per Mohammed’s vision, explored the experience of the care system from the social worker’s perspective.

The other (featured here and in the exhibition) reflected on the importance and impact of socially engaged participatory practice in a policy setting from his point of view.

You, Me & The IGP

From November 2024 - April 2025 I was Artist in Residence at the Institute for Global Prosperity based out of UCL.

Embedding myself in their ongoing activity, the residency allowed me to situate my practice in relation to their work and in a wider policy context.

In this sense the residency was a conversation between our respective practices.

Exhibiting October 2025, “You, Me & The IGP” was a 3 part installation piece that distilled and represents that conversation – and extended it to include the wider public too.

It weaved together interactive props, participatory experiences and artist moving image to take the audience on a journey.

One that showcased the work of the residency and invited engagement with the themes of that work too.
