My work combines socially engaged practice, abstraction and experimental storytelling to explore the lived experience of power in society.
I am a film maker who developed a participatory practice to become a multidisciplinary artist. Focusing particularly on underrepresented voices I mix visual and participatory arts to create spaces for agency, ownership, critique and empowerment amongst participants and audiences.
I have been commissioned by ACE, The Box Museum Plymouth, Kings College London amongst others as well being artist-in-residence at Institute for Global Prosperity based out of UCL.
I have created moving image work for BBC, Rise Films, CAMHS with films screened at the London Festival Architecture and the Bertha Dochouse strand of the Bloomsbury Festival.
In 2022 I was selected to create a immersive installation piece for BBC/BFI partnered “StoryTrails”. The project was nominated for best immersive in the SxSW23 innovation awards, won Museums and Heritage, Focal International and Webee awards.
