FUTURE ARCHAEOLOGY
A 2-part project marking the 200th anniversary of the Devonport area commissioned by The Box Museum Plymouth.
I collaborated with University of Plymouth researcher Jamie Harper to explore the lived experience of Devonport through the eyes of those who live and work there.
The piece comprised a multichannel installation film at The Box’s Media Lab and an immersive dome experience at RIO Markethall.
Understanding archive as collective memory, participatory workshops were used in the making and exhibition of both parts.
This dual modality ensured
Future Archaeology was both experimental piece and community conversation.
